We are looking for someone to watch our laid back, 8 year old corgi-chihuahua mix in their home during to work day. Joy is well behaved and calm when at home, housebroken and potty trained and loves all humans and gentle with children. She coexists fine with other dogs but may take a while to warm up to them and does not really interact or play. She is dog reactive when on leash or if there is a fence and she sees another dog (no aggression, but will bark and lunge). This does not happen when residing with another dog off-leash, other than barking and being uncomfortable or shy initially.
Note that we would drop her off in the morning and pick her up after work. Typical hours would probably be from 7am-9am for drop-off and 6pm-8pm pickup.
This would be 1x weekly and tasks include:
- taking her to potty outside 2x or 3x a day
- feeding 1x or 2x a day
- keeping her company (recommend not leaving her by herself in the home unless crated)
