Nicodemus, "Nico" for short, is a sweet, anxious 5-year-old miniature schnauzer/pomeranian (ca. 20 lbs) who we adopted from the Animal Rescue League in Feb 2025. He is a barker with new people and dogs and strange sounds. He warms up quickly to new people inside the house. On walks he is still learning that strangers are not a threat--with reactions ranging from a quick growl, tensing up, to barking and lunging. He loves treats, stealing socks, and finding his toys to play fetch. He lives with me and my sister who recently lost her vision. I will be traveling for a film festival and am looking for someone to provide additional care/attention. My sister will keep him company but is unable to feed, walk him, or retrieve toys for playing. I travel regularly for work and would ideally like to find someone who can build a relationship with Nico and the family.
