Dear Pet Sitters,

My family and I are currently facing a housing emergency and may need to enter a shelter that does not allow pets. We are doing everything we can to secure stable housing as quickly as possible, and we are hoping to find a compassionate sitter who would be willing to care for our pets during this temporary transition. We anticipate this arrangement lasting no longer than about a month, though the exact timeframe is uncertain.

We have one dog, a 7-month-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier. He is very friendly, energetic, and loves attention. He is potty trained but does best with consistent daily walks.

We also have three kittens—two males and one female—ranging from about 8 months to just under a year old. They are relatively low maintenance, playful, and affectionate.
