Hello! My girlfriend and I moved here from Ohio for my doctorate program! She works at a hospital Tuesday-Thursday 11a-11:30p while I’m back and forth in classes. Starting mid May, I have to go back to Ohio for clinicals full time until mid July - it is just 9 weeks.
For her safety and their comfort, we were hoping to leave our dogs here but would need a solution for Tuesday-Thursday while she is working 12's. We have two cats and two dogs. The cats are very self sufficient and have automatic feeders so I'm not as worried about them as they just roam around and hang out.
However our two dogs are large and most of the time high energy. They love just running in a yard together. Our German shepherd is also very reactive towards dogs. He is fine with people once introduced and spending some time with them. But he would not be able to go to a public doggy daycare or be around any other dogs besides our husky.
We are open to someone coming to our house for a few hours Tuesday-Thursday. Or she can drop them off before work (as long as there are no other dogs) but you may have to bring them back unless you want her coming to your home at midnight. I know this is a complicated situation so please let me know if anyone has any leads or ideas!
