My granddaughter has 6 pet chickens (3 years old). They are set up with a 5 gallon water bucket and feed bucket so only need to be tended to every other or every third day. Eggs need to be collected but can sit a day or two in the nest box and are yours to use. They are on deep litter so only need to have bedding replaced once a month. We will be gone for 3 months (August 24th through November 26th) although return date is subject to change (would be an earlier return, not extended). There's also a vegetable garden (tomatoes, beans, squash, pumpkin, etc.) which will need to be watered and the produce is yours. Access would be through side gate.
