I have two dachshunds (each weighs about 20 lbs.) Vienna is 13 years old and Wilson is 8 years old. Wilson takes medication (with his meals) for a skin condition with his ears. They are fed 2x's a day (breakfast and dinner) and are walked after meals. They are ok to be left alone for up to 8 hours at a time.
