I’m a senior at Rutgers University on a full academic scholarship and a Communication major, and caring for children has always been something I truly love and take pride in. I currently work as a substitute teacher and previously served as a paraprofessional, where I supported students in both classroom and one-on-one settings. Through these roles, I’ve worked closely with children of different ages, personalities, and learning styles, including those who benefit from extra patience, structure, and encouragement. As a Communication major, I place strong value on clear, positive, and age-appropriate communication. I’m warm, patient, attentive, and deeply caring, and I focus on creating a safe, nurturing environment where children feel comfortable, valued, and supported. Whether it’s helping with homework, keeping kids engaged in fun and educational activities, maintaining routines, or simply being a calm and reassuring presence, I approach every situation with care and responsibility. My experience in school Read more settings has strengthened my organization, problem-solving, and ability to remain calm under pressure. I’m reliable, punctual, and respectful of each family’s needs, and I understand how important trust and consistency are when it comes to childcare. I also have my own reliable transportation and am comfortable adapting to different schedules and routines. Above all, I take pride in being someone families can depend on. I treat every child with kindness, patience, and genuine care, and I strive to give parents peace of mind knowing their children are in safe, capable, and compassionate hands.
