Ever since I was old enough to work, I have worked with kids and loved it! I began as a babysitter and a summer camp lifeguard at age 16. Since then, I have been a camp counselor, aquatics director, waterfront director, swim instructor, and teaching assistant (in France). All of these wonderful jobs have given me experience with almost every age of development, from children aged 6 months all the way up to high schoolers. I have a current shallow-water lifeguarding and CPR/ first aid/ AED for the professional rescuer certificates. I'm also fluent in French, I have studied education at the university level, and have a personal interest in alternative approaches to early childhood education, such as the Montessori and Waldorf methodologies.
