Hi there! I am Ashleen and I’m super excited to meet you and your kiddos! Babysitting is truly one of my favorite things to do! I love lending a helping hand to families whenever I have time in my schedule. I get to meet some really awesome kids while also building a relationship with families. My favorite part of being a sitter is knowing I am being trusted to create a comfortable, safe, and fun environment for kids. I have sat for children ranging in ages from 4 months old to pre-teens. Being able to connect with kids in different age ranges gives me a different perspective on babysitting. That is why creating a comfortable environment for them is at the top of my to do list! Although babysitting is a passion of mine, I have profession experience in strategic consulting and I am currently studying for the LSAT, as Read more part of my application to Law School. Babysitting gives me a bit of time away from the computer and allows me to work with wonderful kids. I love music, reading, game nights, singing, dancing and cooking; so I place a big importance on getting to know your kiddos and their favorite pass times specifically being active - finding new games we can play or reading their favorite stories. Aside for my passion for creating memories as a sitter, I am a reliable, resourceful and responsible young woman who puts an emphasis on trust between myself and parents while I am watching their children. If there is a need for homework help or tutoring I am also well trained in this realm. Throughout my undergraduate career I focused some of my time on tutoring students in primary and middle school on math, reading and writing while working for Teach for America. With my experience and training for my tutoring roles, I had the opportunity to help children meet specific goals while being engaged and encouraged! Ashleen is amazing! She has been really accommodating to our busy and changing schedules, is very responsible, and fantastic with kids. Our 1 and 3-year old sons love spending time with her and get excited every time she comes to help us. Our 3 year old son is usually shy with new people but Ashlee makes him feel comfortable so he opened up to her within minutes! I recommend her to anyone looking for a responsible, caring, and fun babysitter.
