My name is Heather and I'm interested in speaking with you regarding your child care position. I have a clean drivers license and own a reliable car, have been trained as a lifeguard, have an infant/child CPR card, and am fully vaccinated including for Covid, as well as am registered with TrustLine (a CA based program that clears people to work with children by running background checks and their fingerprints through the US Dept. of Justice). Over the nearly 30 years that I have been a nanny (since graduating Smith College in 1996), I have specialized in the care of 0-3 years, starting with infants as young as 7 weeks old, but have experience with kids 0-16. I personally do not watch TV, so I find no need to have the children I care for watch either. Instead, I love to sing, listen to music, read books, go for walks, Read more and do age/stage appropriate imaginative play with the kids, as well as constantly speaking in English and counting in various languages to aid in language development. I also enjoy cooking, making homemade purees for first foods on up to finger foods and hiding veggies to keep picky toddlers eating healthfully. I love being a nanny almost as much as I have loved each of the children I have worked with over the years.
