Hi! I have worked at the Town of Apex with groups of children aged from 5 to 11 for the past two years, and I love making connections with them. Through this job, I have experience in taking kids on field trips, setting up crafts, playing games, etc. Personally, I grew up in a family where hands-on activities were common, and limiting screen time was my mother's pastime. My parents also owned two drop-in child care centers where I spent time helping out the counselors as a tween. Now that I am finishing up my Associate's in Arts at Wake Tech, I am looking to be able to spend more one-on-one time with children than my current job allows. I enjoy cooking and helping around the house, and honestly, just want to be a friend to your kid. A little fun fact about me is that I have two cats Read more and two dogs, and a twin brother myself! So my house is pretty packed full of energy!
