Hello, my name is Tessa-Rae Spaugh. I am happily married to my husband, Matthew since January 9th, 2018. We have three cats: Sophie, Shelby, and Sally. I was born in Kingsport, TN but moved to California when I was 12 years old. I moved back to Kingsport in 2015. I’m a simple lady who is a homebody. I like to do projects around my house and working on jigsaw puzzles. I love going to church and to fellowship with other people. I believe God gave me a love for teaching children and taking good care of them. I have always wanted to be an early childhood teacher and that dream came true in 2017. I am currently a 4-Year old preschool/childcare teacher at Colonial Heights Baptist Church. After 3pm I head downstairs to the after-school program where I watch and care for a large group of children (around 20) as Read more young as 5 and as old as 13. During the summer months, I am lead of the Summer Camp Program where I watch an average of 75-90 children each day. (Not by myself of course! lol). I know how to react calmly and effectively when stressful or potentially dangerous situations arise. I am always alert and observant of the environment me and the children I am watching are in.
