I am currently a college student majoring in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology, and my studies help me better understand behavior, development, and communication, which I apply when working with children to be patient, attentive, and supportive of their needs. I love being a sitter because I genuinely enjoy getting to know children and understanding how they grow, learn, and see the world. Every child is different, and I find it really rewarding to support their development while creating a safe, fun, and caring environment for them. I have experience as an assistant preschool teacher at a home-based school, where I helped with daily routines, learning activities, and caring for young children in a structured setting, which taught me patience, strong communication, and how to support early childhood development in a hands-on way.
