Hi! Child care has been a huge part of my life ever since I started my first neighborhood babysitting biz at the age of 12! I have been fingerprinted and have my background check for Both The City Of Mission Viejo as well as The Capistarno Unified School District. I have amazing local references. At the moment I am looking for all kinds of child care, tutoting or household management positions. I hold a B.A. in Early Childhood Education and spent over a decade as an elementary school teacher. We had high hopes for Tanya after her initial interview. She came to do a trial run for a few hours and even the the baby was fussy, she took it in stride and seemed comfortable and confident with him. I offered her the position (5 days a week) and she accepted. Before she left I asked her for references and she agreed to send them. After two days and a few text messages she still hadn't sent references for me to call. Then she texted me and said that her schedule had suddenly changed (not really giving a reason or anything) and she couldn't work 5 days a week anymore. I was initially very disappointed since I thought we found a nanny, but now looking back, I wonder if there is a correlation between me asking her for references and her changing her availability so suddenly.

Hi Candice, As a seasoned expert I have excellent ref's! I did not send them to you because I couldn't take the position. I am a certfied teacher, w/ background checks city, state and Fed! I kindly did a Trial Run with you which is not standard. I couldn't accept the job & I comm'd very clearly. Plz remove this, it's Incorrect. Thank you, Tanya

Tanya was outstanding with our 3-year-old! She brought creative activities, they had a blast. Tanya is a great communicator, and she provided the perfect flexibility for our night out. She even tidied up the dishes after dinnertime. We would highly recommend and would reach out to her again in a heartbeat.
