Hi! My name is Crystal and I’m 20 years old. I graduated from high school last year and recently earned my associate’s degree a year early! I’m currently finishing school in the fall to become a pediatric dentist because working with kids is truly my passion! While I haven’t babysat professionally yet, I am currently working as at a at-home daycare called Itty Bitty Academy. I’ve been working there for about 10 months. I have gained experience supervising children aged 1-4 years old consistently to ensure a safe and nurturing environment by providing attentive caregiving. I have independently managed daycare operations for several hours on multiple occasions ensuring all routines, safety standards and caregiving responsibilities were upheld. I maintain a clean and organized play area, adhering to safety and health protocols. I also have experience working with a child on the autism spectrum and provided individualized support. Aside from the daycare, I’ve spent lots of time caring for my 13-year-old nephew and 3-year-old niece that including helping my nephew with homework, making dinner for them, washing dishes and doing chores around the house, making sure there’s time for play, and getting them ready for bed on time. Through that experience, I’ve learned how to balance fun and responsibility across different ages. I’m patient, playful, and always ready to jump into games, crafts, or story time. Being a kid at heart helps me connect easily with little ones while still keeping things safe and structured.
