Hi! My name is Brittany, and I’m currently a third year nursing student at Concordia University. I absolutely love working with kids, and I’ve been consistently caring for my niece since she was a newborn and she is now 3 years old. I also have experience volunteering as a teacher’s assistant for first graders, which helped me learn how to keep children engaged, supported, and encouraged in their learning. One of my favorite childcare experiences has been watching my niece grow and being part of her everyday learning and play. I enjoy coming up with fun and creative activities, whether that is crafts, interactive play, or spending time outside. I love outdoor play, going on walks, and exploring local parks or community activities. I’m also very interested in child development and try to support learning through play, patience, and positive interaction. I understand how important it is to be reliable and minimize distractions like phone use while caring for kids. My nursing background has strengthened my communication skills, responsibility, and safety awareness, and I maintain an active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. I am bilingual in Spanish, have a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation, and am flexible with scheduling. I’m also happy to help with household tasks such as cleaning up after activities, loading the dishwasher, or assisting with laundry.
