I am a bright, peppy, energetic, responsible, empathetic, and a caring nanny seeking to provide part time to full time work for a loving family. I am currently in college taking courses to pursue a dream of becoming a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer I have cared for several families in the past with the most recent family for over 2.5 years. I recently relocated from Lynchburg Virginia a little over a year ago. I have experience working with children with disabilities and several diagnoses. I have daily experience of taking the children to scheduled physician and therapy appointments, gymnastics and other sports related practices, and for activities at the family’s local Country Club. I also have experience tending to the family’s home while away on vacation, caring for family pets, and running errands for the parents. As a nanny, I also provide meals, and complete light cleaning and laundry. I understand Read more that each child has different needs and abilities. I am very flexible with meeting the child’s needs and ensuring that the expectations of the parents are met. I am very reliable and safety is at the utmost importance. Through being a nanny, I can provide communication skills, coping skills, and foster creative skills and decision making skills. I see each moment as a learning experience and opportunity whether it is being outside on a playground or playing in a family room with Legos and blocks. In closing, my job is to fulfill the needs of the child while their parents are away, to provide a safe and happy environment until the child’s parent returns home. This includes ensuring that the parent feels comfortable and at ease while away from their most prized possession.
