Hello, my name is Anna Hoegner. I'm 26 years old and have been in child care since April 2016. I've had the opportunity to teach Pre-K, preschool, toddlers and have cared for infants. I am certified in CPR, basic first aid, communicable disease and have also completed my child neglect and abuse course. I completed the CDA certificate education with honors. While working on my portfolio for my verification visit I realized I did not want to work in a center anymore. I am currently at a private day care center with the 2-3 year olds. I write age appropriate lesson plans, carry out activities, potty train, administer food, keep the environment safe and of course give as much love as I can. I cherish the bonds I create with my kids and their families. I have learned a great deal through the center, however I prefer the individualized attention Read more and calm environment. I also have my own 4 year old and would love some extra time with him before he starts kindergarten. My key components for my kids are safety, happiness, and comfort. I want my kids to feel like they can come to me about anything. Communication and an open relationship with parents is very important to me. I want the parents to understand that I have the best intentions set in place for them and I will do anything I need to accommodate a families individual needs. Honesty is very important to me. I love being goofy and I'm very passionate. I plan to create age appropriate plans for my families, build a portfolio and more. I'm excited to start this new chapter for my life and yours!
