I love being a sitter because I enjoy making a positive impact on children’s lives. Watching them learn, laugh, and grow is incredibly rewarding. I also love giving parents peace of mind, knowing their children are in a safe, caring, and dependable environment while they’re away. As a nursing student, I spend a lot of time learning how to care for children medically, but babysitting allows me to build meaningful relationships with kids and support their emotional, social, and everyday needs as well. I have over 5 years of paid childcare experience, along with many years of unpaid experience caring for younger siblings, cousins, and family members in my large family. I’ve worked with children of different ages and personalities, and I’m comfortable helping with daily routines, meals, homework, bedtime, and engaging activities while ensuring children are safe and well cared for. I am a nursing student with training in Read more child health and safety. I am certified in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR). I am also a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), giving me experience working with children with diverse needs, including those with autism and other developmental or behavioral challenges. My training has helped me develop patience, strong communication skills, and the ability to remain calm and responsive in a variety of situations.
