I really enjoy working with children and supporting their growth and development. I love creating a safe, calm, and engaging environment where kids feel cared for and supported. I value gentle, attentive caregiving that supports emotional regulation and development. I have experience babysitting toddlers as well as caring for school-age children (5–8 years old), and I am also a mother to a toddler, which has given me hands-on daily experience with infant and early childhood care, routines, and emotional needs. Some of my skills include childcare routines, maintaining structure, preparing meals and snacks, baking (including sourdough), and homemaking skills such as keeping spaces organized and clean. I also enjoy planning simple, creative activities that support learning and play. I am currently more than halfway through two parenting courses, which continue to strengthen my understanding of child development and positive caregiving approaches.
