Hi. Thank you for reading my profile. Read on to learn about my experience and background. My Experience I was a nanny for a set of boy/girl twins who were premature. I started with them around age two and was their nanny until they went to school. They learned so much under my care and we had fun doing it. I searched for free classes and low-cost experiences - from educational classes at the library to making crafts at IKEA. We spent many days at the Botanical Gardens, walking the VB boardwalk, and taking nature hikes at Pleasure House Point and First Landing. I worked 10-hour days, and screen/TV time was not part of the day, except on very rare occasions during the pandemic where it made sense. I can provide a reference. I have worked with other families as well. My other experience includes helping raise my special needs Read more sister, 9 years younger, from birth. She had (has) both medical (seizures) and developmental challenges resulting from hydrocephalus. Our parents worked full-time; I spent a great deal of time taking care of her, including the entire summer - over 8 years. There were many challenges. A Little About Me: I'm a responsible 59-year-old adult who would love to help you with your child/children. I have a background in marketing and communications and small business ownership. I do not have any children, which is why I love being a nanny during periods of unemployment and while I attended school recently. AI took my corporate job recently and I doubt I will be going back. I am physically fit, energetic, enjoy the outdoors and am up for basically anything, as long as it is sanctioned by you! I have a fabulous driving record. I am a true animal lover and have been a vegetarian for over 30 years. Note: I will serve meat and prepare basic meat foods, but please do not expect a rack of lamb made by me. 😉 If you are looking for a special nanny who goes the extra mile, then you should interview me.
