Working with children genuinely brings me such joy. Each and every one of them are so fun and weird! Every child I’ve worked with has taught me something; new games to play, a fun/cute way to say a word, or even a different way to handle a situation. I enjoy learning how each child is unique. I’ve been working with children for 20 years. At 10 years old I began working as a ‘mother’s helper’ for neighbors and family friends. My journey continued as a BBBS mentor for at risk youth, a babysitter for more than 100 families, a head preschool teacher, and a nanny! I went to college and earned a CDA in early childhood education. While I am not currently CPR certified, I was re-certified approx. every 2 years since I was 14 years old.
