Allison is an absolutely phenomenal babysitter. I am a working mom and I work from home and I needed in home childcare for a month. I interviewed Allison and she said "I'll watch your son like he is my own kid" and she did. She has 5 kids of her own and from the get go my 11 month old was very comfortable with her. He would have a huge smile and I could hear him giggle when Allison was watching him. A few things I really appreciated about Allison : 1. She was never on her phone. My kid really had all her attention. She read to him and I found her making up story arcs around his toys and I actually learned a couple of things from her as I am a first time mom. 2. She is such a doer. When he napped, she asked hey can I help you with anything because she didn't want to just sit around and she went over and beyond and washed the bottles, my pump parts and sanitized them. More so, she actually folded all the laundry in the house which she had no need to do and went over and above. 3. My kid is not verbal and yet I knew he really loved when she came over to watch him. If you are looking for a nanny/babysitter, I would higly recommend Allison. She is an incredible child-care provider : trustworthy, communicative, has the real experience given that she is a mom, a really good care giver, loves children and is so fun to have around. She will always be my first call for whenever I need child care.
