I have worked with children for 30+ years as a nanny for toddlers and babies, a baby/toddler music class leader, an afterschool tutor and computer instructor, preschool literacy instructor, a babysitter, and, now, as mother and home educator to my three children (ages 7, 12, and 15). This is the first time in my adult life I haven’t had a baby or toddler in my care, and I miss it! I’m looking for the occasional or recurring baby-sitting job to give me that time to play peek-a-boo, do puppet shows, page through board books, do finger plays, sing lullabies, and snuggle. I also love meeting new children of all ages and am delighted to chat about pets or pokemon, play board games or engage in imaginative play. I’m happy to wear a high-quality N-95 style mask if that’s desired, and I can bring my own wrap or carrier for babywearing. Read more College educated, including some coursework in child development.
