As a Biochemistry and Art dual degree major at the University of Florida, I bring a unique blend of hands-on experience working with children in a variety of areas. My background with kids ranges from coaching in youth basketball camps as a summer camp counselor to teaching elementary students fun science experiments with my university's chemistry club. Through my roles as an intern at my local Child Advocacy Center and my position in education at the Boys & Girls Club, I am deeply passionate about creating a safe, supportive, and engaging environments for children of all ages. I have adequate experience caring for children from third grade all the way up to high school, as well as in large groups. Because of my heavy STEM background, I am also equipped to help out with homework or school projects. My approach with kids is centered on positive reinforcement for good habits.
