Hi I’m Michael I have about two years experience working with children in licensed facilities, I started working in Childcare working with children from the age of seven months up to pre-K. Working in childcare was one of the best jobs I’ve ever had but of course the pay rate in Childcare isn’t very great and being a full-time single father it wasn’t very sustainable. In addition to my experience in Childcare, I am currently working as a substitute teacher for grades pre-K to 12th grade but I’m looking for something a little more consistent that I can work on a daily basis Monday through Friday. Working with children has been a great experience in my life and I truly feel this is my calling is to work with children. I feel I went into working with children with the knowledge and patience it requires ,as I’ve been caring for Read more children since the age of 15 and also raising my 2 children on my own. Giving that I have worked in Childcare and I’m a substitute teacher I have worked with children in all different aspects whether that be different age groups, general population, or special education so I do have an understanding that they all require different levels of attention, and that some children may require a little more love than others. I will say working with children, I’ve come to understand that it’s not very common for men to work in this field and also regardless of gender, looking for the perfect candidate to work with your children can be difficult, but I assure you your child and I will be like best friends and I guarantee you the parents will be happy with my work as well as I am here to accommodate to your child’s needs in any way possible I pride myself on my skills of being patient, understanding ,being able to listen and also going over and beyond when it comes to communication.
