Hi! I’m Iniah, an experienced newborn and early-childhood caregiver with a background that uniquely combines private nanny care, professional childcare, and healthcare. I have always had a special connection with babies and young children, and I especially enjoy caring for newborns, infants, and toddlers. My private nanny experience began in 2019 when I started caring for a baby at approximately 8 weeks old. I initially provided overnight newborn care and postpartum support for her mother, including feedings, diapering, bathing, soothing, bedtime and nighttime routines, bottle cleaning and sanitizing, infant laundry, nursery organization, and supporting the family’s breastfeeding and bottle-feeding routine. As she grew, I remained with the family for several years and became a trusted caregiver for extended and overnight stays while her parents traveled. I later worked in the NICU at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta – Scottish Rite, where I supported NICU families and the clinical team and regularly Read more assisted with hands-on newborn care as needed, including feeding, holding, comforting, and assisting with bathing premature and medically fragile babies. I worked 12-hour overnight shifts three nights per week, so I am very comfortable with overnight newborn care and remaining attentive throughout the night. Earlier in my career, I spent three years working in the Life Time Fitness Kids Activity Center caring for children ranging from 3 months to 12 years old. Altogether, I bring more than a decade of healthcare experience along with extensive childcare experience. I am currently BLS/CPR certified, have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, and I am pursuing my Surgical Technology degree with a professional interest in pediatric surgery. I also plan to pursue doula certification to further expand my knowledge of newborn and postpartum support. I am currently seeking a full-time Newborn Care Specialist, infant nanny, or early-childhood nanny position, ideally caring for children from newborn through age 4. I am also open to overnight newborn care and select live-in opportunities for the right family. Above all, I understand how much trust it takes to place your child in someone else’s care. My goal is to provide a safe, loving, calm, dependable, and nurturing presence while respecting each family’s routines, parenting preferences, privacy, and home.
