She has helped care for her little brother for the past 8 and a half years, and the bond they share is something truly special. My son is 9 1/2 years old, autistic, and has ADHD, and she has always shown him an incredible amount of patience, love, and understanding. She has been there through every stage — helping with daily routines, calming him during hard moments, keeping him entertained, and making sure he always feels safe and loved. She understands his needs better than most adults do and has always treated him with kindness and compassion instead of frustration. Watching the relationship they have built as brother and sister has been amazing. He trusts her completely, looks up to her, and feels comfortable around her in a way that is hard to put into words. She is responsible, dependable, and caring far beyond her age, and she has been such an important part of his growth and happiness.
