I believe there is a big difference between supervising children vs. connecting with them and truly engaging them. I love working with children because it gives me space to embody my nurturing and jovial demeanor - I get to be playful and silly, which is not something I get to do often in the adult world! I have worked with children in different capacities including in-and-out-of classroom teaching, tutoring and Bilingual literacy, leading after school programming, and youth engagement/empowerment in the social work field. I am thankful to have a knack for connecting with children of all ages, from infancy to teenage years. What sets me apart is my genuine care for others and my authenticity. I understand how challenging it can be to find time for everything and that is where I come in!
