About me: Im a 25 year old professional with a Graduate degree in Mental Health Counseling. I moved to Colorado Springs in 2022 after graduating from the University of Florida. While living in Florida I worked at my local church (Church of Eleven 22) for over 3 years in childcare. I have experience with children 6 weeks old to 17. I’m comfortable with all ages and am able to care for all needs. When working in childcare I was able to manage classrooms with 20-30 kids at a time. I have experience nannying (2 1/2 years) for a family with a son who has Autism, Down Syndrome, and Oppositional Defiant Disorder. I was able to take him to appointments, administer medication, facilitate bedtime, prepare meals, entertain, and much more! We became close and I had the priests of attending his 7th birthday before I moved! In addition to nannying I Read more became close with many families I part-time babysat for. I would stay for daytime visits, late nights, or even overnights when needed. I still remain close with these families even after moving to CO. I have extensive experience with special needs and families with many kiddos. I’m not shy when it comes to cleaning up messes and understand that kids are kids. I am CPR and first aid certified for infants and adolescents. I do currently work full time as an adolescent therapist but love babysitting and continue that part time. I love working with children and have done it all my life! I’d love to help out with your family needs where I can.

Ireland helped me out last minute when the snowstorm cancelled daycare for my 1 year old daughter. She was super communicative right away (which makes sense considering her career in mental health counseling for teenagers--she deserves a medal), letting me whens he was planning to arrive and then again when she was leaving her house. To have jumped in an helped me out so quickly was a godsend--especially also because the roads were obviously not great. Then, upon her arrival, she was warm and inviting, friendly and super flexible about what she needed to know in and around the house before taking over care. This tells me that she's done this many times and can totally handle any situation. I am so very greatful for Ireland and am excited to work with her more for more babysitting!
