Hi, my name is Dametria. I currently have six years of childcare experience under my belt. During this time I have worked with infants, toddlers, pre-k, and school age children. As a Teaching Assistant and Nanny, I assist in the growth and development of children and helping develop language, cognitive, fine motor and large motor skills. Also creating a weekly schedule with activities based on a monthly calendar of learning and creative activities. On a weekly basis I create a weekly schedule that includes many engaging and fundamental activities. Circle time is first thing in the morning, mid afternoon and before bed time to engage and calm the children. During circle time I include reading, math, colors, shapes, calendar, and numerical activities. We also practice writing, doing this by tracing numbers, letters, and names. Science would also be included, activities such as baking, changing the color of water, sensory, making Read more slime and play dough. I would also include mathematics by using blocks to count, and practicing adding and subtracting. I also have experience with potty training, sleep scheduling, meal preparation, cleaning and animal care. I am passionate about childcare because it is where every human begins. I am dedicated to helping serve my community and families who are looking for someone who is able to make an impact in a child's life.
