Hi! I'm Rachel, a senior at CU with a love for kids! My passion for childcare started at a young age when I took on my first babysitting job at just 9 years old. Since then, I've cared for children of all ages here and there. I pursued my enjoyment with being around kids and became a camp counselor for Gold Arrow Camp, where I really learned how to create engaging and safe environments for kids to learn and have fun. I focused on daily activities that worked on building healthy friendships, listening skills, and personal growth. At camp, I would facilitate nightly campfires that guided campers to reflect on their day, creating goals that they could actively achieve, and promoting a space to encourage others.
