*As of 3/15/23 I am considering part time/occasional care only.* About Me: I am a proud mama to a gifted 3rd grader and six fur babies. My family is my world! I have a profound love for children and animals. I have babysat part time over the past 15 years as needed for neighbors and family while I worked and attended school. I have 6 nieces and nephews ranging currently ranging from 1-24 years old and two younger sisters elementary and high school age. Quite a big family I have! I’ve also had the opportunity to coach youth Cheerleading and Gymnastics since 2006 mainly ages 5-13. Outside of caregiving and coaching, I work within the real estate industry, work with a national youth non-profit and foster shelter kittens and dogs. Up until 2021, I was also in the legal field full time for 5 years. Before that, event management and Read more hospitality for 8 years! My Values: I am patient and believe in a healthy balance between being active, education and interactive play. Keeping things age appropriate is important to me. I am constantly on the hunt for the best local events (which I will always share with you to take the kiddos!) My demeanor to adults is always professional but laid back but as soon as you’re out the door you can believe I’m the goof ball your kids will love! I know first hand the importance of keeping routine and I make sure to coordinate the stimulation children need to make their naps actually happen! I enjoy cooking and love getting the kids involved and letting their creativity shine in anyway possible. My activities are tailored to the household rules and include everything from story time yoga to rainbow pasta to music time to non-toxic diy fingerpaints! I send all my families intake questionnaire and provide tons of cute photos throughout (and respect your privacy to NEVER post your children online!) I also like to leave little report cards so you know how our time together went:) I have numerous background check clearances via Checkr, HireVue, Safesport and Sterling from my volunteer and non-profit work and would be happy to provide a copy and any information you may need. I have been vaccinated against Covid-19 2021 but am not willing to receive a booster, flu shot or any other preventative vaccines that are not required/suggested by my own doctor. For liability purposes, I prefer not to transport children for new families until a relationship has been established on both ends. Happy to chat and answer any questions!
