Meet Jocelyn

I’ve always loved taking care of kids and seeing there reactions when they’re having fun or learning something. Creating special caring bonds with children and doing projects or fun activities with them and teaching them new things is one of my favorite things. I’ve worked at a daycare for a few years now and have basically experienced every age group but I will have to admit infants and toddlers are probably my favorite to spend time with even though it can be overwhelming or tough at times. Prior to the daycare when I grew up I had experience watching my little cousins sometimes and I babysat this little boy for about two years every now and then. Working at the daycare showed me how much you can love somebody’s kid even when it’s not you’re own and it’s a heartfelt thing to experience a strong bond with a kid who Read more looks up to you and loves you. Im trained on diapers, meal prep, bottles, sleep strategies, potty training and I’m very patient and understanding. I’m trained in cpr and first aid. I’ve dealt with a lot of different kids so I’m comfortable with all sorts of different personalities and I know how to deal with emotions rather than brushing them off or just ignoring them. I also highly respect parents boundaries and what they do or don’t want there children doing/watching or saying wether I agree with it or not. I also love cleaning it’s always been something that satisfied me and made me feel good. I don’t have my own car right now unfortunately because of an accident so I'm in the middle of saving up to finance a new one but i still have transportation! I’m out of work for a little right now because of a personal reason but figured I could try and do something I already love until I’m ready to go back.
