I have raised two children of my own and will soon be adopting my 12-year-old grandson. I spent years taking in children of friends and neighbors to babysit while my own children were in school. Now that my grandchildren are grown, I am looking to fill some of my free time caring for other children. I recently completed a six-week parenting program in preparation to adopt my grandson. Caring for children is the most important job in the world and I am always educating myself on the changes in parenting for a safe and healthy child.
