Hi! My name is Meg! I am a student at Brown University studying psychology and Modern Culture and Media. During my time at Brown, I have taken classes on children's social, emotional, and mental development. Throughout high school I mentored second graders during my lunch periods; we played interactive learning games, worked on language and math, and made arts and crafts. I loved that part of my day so much that I joined an after school mentoring club at Brown. We play games, do fun worksheets, and more. Along with my experience engaging with children in a school setting, I spent a lot of time babysitting my neighbors' children (ages ranging from two to eight years old) when I was between the ages of twelve and sixteen. This summer I worked full time at a day camp and interacted with 100+ children on a daily basis aged four to thirteen. Read more When babysitting, I like to play outside (with sunscreen on, of course), do arts and crafts, and read books, but overall I am a go-with-the-flow type of person and can enjoy any activity. I have my driver's license and a clean driving record. I am fully vaccinated and boosted, and I am first aid and CPR certified!
