Hello! I’m Julie, and I’m so excited to meet you and your little ones! I’ve been caring for children since I was 16, and over the years I’ve had the privilege of working with children in many different capacities—from babysitting and nannying to teaching, newborn care, and supporting families through those important early years. Most recently, I’ve been nannying for three young children. Sadly, the family has moved and we will be saying goodbye shortly. Prior to that, I worked with Bella Bambini in New York, where I cared for newborns and helped families navigate those exciting (and sometimes exhausting!) first weeks and months. I’ve also taught children both in the classroom and privately, including children up to age 14. My experience has taken me beyond the U.S. as well. While living in Africa and Mexico, I taught language and behavior and had the opportunity to work with children from Read more a variety of cultures and backgrounds. Those experiences taught me to be adaptable, patient, and attentive to each child’s individual needs and personality. I also bring more than 10 years of experience working in hospitals and pharmacies, which has given me an especially strong appreciation for safety, responsibility, and staying calm when the unexpected happens. I’m CPR and First Aid certified and fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Above all, I genuinely love working with children. I believe children thrive when they feel safe, understood, encouraged, and—most importantly—when they’re having fun. I enjoy being actively involved in their day, whether that means getting outside, playing, reading, creating, learning something new, or simply being a calm and dependable presence. Knowing that each child is someone’s entire world makes it an honor to become a small, trusted part of their world too.
