Hi families! My name is Kaydence, I’m 19 years old and currently living in West Monroe! I’ve always had a soft spot for kids and genuinely love being someone they can feel safe, comfortable, and completely themselves around. I have experience with childcare, foster care, and volunteering in a church nursery, along with a background in emergency medical services. People often describe me as empathetic, patient, understanding, and outgoing. I love getting to know each child’s little personality, finding things that make them smile, and making even the ordinary days fun! Whether that’s getting outside, doing crafts, helping with homework, or just listening to them tell me about their day, I enjoy it all. I’m comfortable caring for children 6 months and older, and I have reliable transportation. I’m also really interested in psychology and child development, with hopes of pursuing a career in mental health.
