I'm 43 years old, originally from Brazil, and I came to the U. S. in 2008 through the Au Pair program. I lived with the host family, in Milwaukee, during the two years of the program, providing total care for their three children. At the end of the program, I changed my Visa status to student so I could keep improving my English skills and attend college here. During that time, I met my husband, and got married in 2012; we had our son in 2014 (born almost 10 weeks prematurely), and we moved to Port Washington in 2017. I have experience caring for newborn to 14-year-olds, including multiples. I've been responsible for total care of most of the kids, including cooking, laundry, transportation, doctors' appointments, homework assistance, bathing, supervising play dates among other things.
