Why do you love being a sitter? I love being a sitter because I genuinely enjoy working with children and being part of their growth. It’s fulfilling to create a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where they feel valued and supported. Every child has a unique personality and way of seeing the world, and I love helping them explore their interests, build confidence, and just be kids. What experience do you have? I have years of experience working with children in a variety of settings. In college, I tutored students ages 7–14 in all subjects, helping them build academic skills and self-confidence. I also worked as a camp counselor during high school at a nature camp for kids ages 3–12, leading outdoor activities, games, and group learning. I’m CPR and First Aid certified, and I have training in basic child safety and emergency response. I’m dependable, patient, and highly organized. My time as a college Resident Assistant strengthened my ability to manage high-stress situations and taught me valuable crisis management skills—tools that are essential when working with children. I’m confident in my communication, able to handle challenges calmly, and always focused on creating a supportive and structured environment. I’m also comfortable helping with homework, planning enriching activities, and maintaining a fun and safe space for kids of all ages.
