My name is Sage, and I am a 19-year-old dedicated, patient, and energetic caregiver with a strong passion for supporting children’s growth, safety, and overall well-being. I have experience caring for infants, including preemie babies, and am confident in providing attentive, gentle, and informed care for children with a wide range of needs. I am also comfortable caring for sick children, ensuring they receive the extra patience, monitoring, and comfort they require. I take child development and enrichment time very seriously, and I strive to create a nurturing environment that encourages learning, creativity, and age-appropriate growth. Through reading, interactive play, and structured activities, I aim to make every moment both meaningful and engaging. I am experienced in supporting children with special needs and can adapt my approach to meet individual developmental and emotional requirements. In addition to childcare, I am happy to assist with school pickups and drop-offs, household tasks, light cleaning, chores, and errands as needed. I am comfortable in homes with pets, including puppies and elderly animals, and ensure they are treated with the same care and respect as the children. I currently work overnight shifts Sunday through Thursday from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM; however, I maintain a flexible schedule outside of those hours and am happy to work with families to meet their needs. While I am in the process of obtaining CPR and First Aid certification, I do have a strong understanding of basic first aid practices. With a calm, reliable, and compassionate approach, I prioritize clear communication with families and maintaining a safe, positive, and supportive environment for every child in my care.
