Hello! My name is Emerson and am 23 years old. I graduated in 2021 from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Sociology and Racial Justice in Urban Schooling. Most recently, I graduated with a Master’s in Elementary Education through the University of St. Thomas (St. Paul). I currently work as 3rd grade teacher in SPPS. I was a co-teacher for a Kindergarten class in the Twin Cities area last fall. Last summer, I was a nanny to two boys (aged 7 and 9. The year prior, I nannied two sisters (aged 7 and 9) and a brother and sister (aged 9 and 11) in Edina. I have several years of experience working with children in both elementary and middle school under different contexts. I am incredibly passionate about working with children. I would also consider myself to be a very patient, hardworking, friendly, and positive person to work with. Due to the fact that I’ve grown up in Minnesota , I have many places in mind within the Twin Cities area that would be so much fun for children! I am incredibly flexible with hours and can work more or less per week, depending on what you are looking for. I am also very COVID-safe (and received the COVID vaccination and booster). I am very interested in working with you and your family!
