I love being a sitter because I love the fact that I am able to help parents, spend time with their kids, and being an example for the kids. I grew up helping kids In my church and I have adored it ever since I was little. I have been a camp counselor and a Sunday school teacher and I have loved it. My 4 year old nephew is autistic and has been such a blessing to be able to not only take care of him, but to learn how different minds work. I am used to large groups of kids, or just 1. I value quality time rather than just putting a screen in front of their face. I believe and building a genuine relationship with kids and not just being their “caretaker.”
