Hi! My name is Julyssa, and I'm currently a student at Boise State University studying toward my goal of becoming an elementary school teacher. I've always enjoyed spending time with children, which is why I'm excited to gain more experience as a sitter. I love creating a fun, safe, and positive environment where kids can learn, play, and feel at ease. This summer I took a child's play therapy class, discussing on the mind of a child and how to follow by their lead when playing and using their imagination. While I'm still building my professional childcare experience, I'm responsible, dependable and eager to learn. I enjoy activities like reading, I'm really good at arts and crafts, games, helping with homework (which I have community hours of helping elementary kids from Legacy Charter School with their math homework) and finding fun ways to keep children engaged. I understand how important Read more it is for parents to have someone they can trust, and I'm committed to providing reliable, attentive care. I'm available most days. Beginning August 24, when the fall semester starts, my class schedule will be Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and Thursdays from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., but I'm flexible outside of those hours.
