Hi! My name is Jasmine, and I’m a nursing student set to graduate in May 2025. I’m CPR and BLS certified, and while I don’t have formal paid babysitting experience, I’ve had the opportunity to work closely with children through both my nursing clinicals and unofficial care roles. My clinical experience includes over 225 hours on labor and delivery and mother/baby units, 45 hours in pediatrics, and about 50 hours in school settings, where I worked with children of various ages and needs—including those with special needs. These experiences have helped me develop a strong understanding of child development, safety, and how to respond calmly and effectively in a variety of situations. In high school, I was actively involved in tutoring fellow students through clubs such as National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta (National Math Honor Society), and the National English Honor Society. I tutored high school students in subjects Read more like math and reading, which helped me develop a strong foundation in academic support and one-on-one teaching. I’m currently looking for childcare positions where I can bring my compassion, experience, and positive energy into a family’s home. I genuinely love working with children—their curiosity, creativity, and unique personalities inspire me every day. Whether it’s helping with homework, sticking to a bedtime routine, or planning fun and educational activities, I aim to create a safe, nurturing space where kids can thrive. In addition to childcare, I’m great with pets and comfortable with light housekeeping tasks such as tidying up, meal prep, and laundry. I understand how important it is to maintain a well-balanced and safe environment, and I always strive to communicate openly with parents to ensure their child’s needs are consistently met. I’m excited about the opportunity to support a family and build meaningful connections along the way!
