I am a 57 year old Mother of 2 (30 and 24) Patiently waiting for them to Bless me with Grandchildren!! Neither one of them share in my excitement or are in any hurry at all today do so! So I did the next best thing, registered with the state as a child care providor and have had the pleasure of supporting 14 families in the past 15 years. I have had 4 families with sets of twins and sibling so I am very comfortable with multiples and engaging various age children. That being said, I have a genuine passion for all children but my preference at this point in life is Newborn to 18 months for sure:) The majority of the families I have supported I started my contract with them as early as three weeks old and at 6 months (once fully vaccinated ), we start exploring the Read more days with trips to the local parks, Childrens Museums, arts and crafts, swimming lessons, splash pads, attending play dates and library story time, lots of reading and other age appropriate activities. My goal/role is to take an infant through milestone moments but also get them prepared to move on to a traditional day care setting. I am a firm believer in introducing babies to all the fun things life has to offer through safe socialization while of course making sure they are meeting all developmental milestones. I am very active in the Nanny/Mom's group community. My care giving style is one of daily field trips to encourage curiosity and adventure rather than sitting at home with screen time to entertain.
