My name is Carrie Leigh, I’m a Nashville native and absolutely love working with babies, toddlers & preschoolers! I am on only child and always longed for siblings. I started babysitting for friends of the family at age 13 and continued to do so until I went to college. My junior/senior year I worked 30+ hours on an almost full time basis taking care of my neighbor’s 3-yr old daughter. Fast forward, I also stayed at home with my daughter so I could care for her the first year of her life at age 27, then returned back to IT work, but also picked up shifts in my Church nursery. My daughter is now 23, I’m 51, and I raised her on my own. I’m wanting a break from the IT work so I can have more time for exercise, family and work/life balance. I love to cook, I’m creative Read more and enjoy arts/crafts. I am patient, I love reading to children (and infants) and really enjoy caring for little ones. Currently I am available after 5:30-6pm M-Th, available all day/night Friday & Saturday & some Sundays there is flexibility. I would love to be a part of your little one’s routine and build a relationship but also willing to care for your child on an as- needed basis. I offer light housekeeping when child is napping/sleeping and cooking as needed.
