Hi! I’m Salma. I’m a sociology major and currently working in youth programs, and I’ve spent the last several years gaining hands-on experience working with kids of all ages. I’ve worked in afterschool programs, summer camps, and residential care settings, and I also have experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. I love creating a safe, calm, and fun space for kids, whether that’s helping with homework, doing crafts, going outside, or just being someone they can trust. I’m patient, organized, and really good at adapting to different personalities and needs. I also do children’s hair, which the kids I work with always love. I’m CPR/First Aid aware through my jobs, responsible with routines, and comfortable managing busy schedules, meal prep, and light household tasks. Working with families and kids is something I genuinely enjoy, and I’m hoping to bring that same energy, care, and dependability to your home.
