Hi, my name is Reem! I grew up with many younger siblings, so I spent much of my life caring for children long before it became a profession. I essentially raised my two youngest siblings, and I couldn't be prouder of the kind, smart, and empathetic people they are today. Even as a child myself, I was very aware of how much our words and actions can impact children. I believe every interaction matters. Professionally, I have worked as an Intervention Specialist in elementary schools, supporting children with a wide range of needs, including ADHD, autism, developmental disabilities, and behavioral challenges. This experience taught me how to create structured, supportive environments where children feel safe, understood, and capable of succeeding. I am comfortable adapting to each child's unique personality, communication style, and needs. For the past two years, I have also worked as a Residential Mental Health Counselor, supporting adults Read more through mental health challenges and crises. This role has strengthened my patience, communication skills, emotional awareness, and ability to remain calm and dependable in difficult situations. Because of my experience both at home and professionally, I am especially skilled at building trust and rapport, helping children learn and develop confidence, supporting emotional regulation, and navigating conflicts with patience and empathy. At the same time, I love bringing fun, creativity, and lots of giggles into the day. I love being a sitter because I truly believe there is nothing more important than helping children feel safe, valued, and supported as they grow. Being a small part of that journey is an honor. My favorite thing to do with children is simply joining them in the activities they love most—whether that's playing outside, creating art, building forts, reading stories, or exploring their latest interests. I’m free Fridays and Saturdays and then some :)
