Hello! My name is Sondra. I have worked in public education as a special education aid (elementary and middle school) for 5 years with an additional 5 years working with preschoolers. I am extremely passionate about child development and play based learning. I believe that children are made to learn and that play lead by the child and intentional teacher lead activities are the best ways for each individual to learn and develop. Using a combination of Montessori and Reggio Emilia learning approaches for creating activities and individually designed lessons allows me to meet the children where they are and help them grow. Reading stories, doing arts and crafts, science, and exploring outdoors are my favorite things.
